Awareness Session on Resolving Family Disputes through Mediation

The International Centre for Appropriate Dispute Resolution (ICADRP) – Karachi recently conducted an impactful awareness session on:

“Resolving Family Disputes Through Mediation – The Preferred Mode of Dispute Resolution”

Hosted for the employees of D.L Nash, the session focused on how mediation can transform family conflicts into opportunities for understanding, healing, and constructive resolution. The discussion emphasized ICADRP’s vision of “Building Healthier Families Through Constructive Conflict Resolution” by promoting dialogue, cooperation, and mutually beneficial outcomes.

The session was led by Barrister Mahwish Elahi, Regional Director Karachi – ICADRP, Accredited Mediator (IMI-Qualified), Advocate High Court, and Member CIArb (UK). Drawing upon her extensive experience in dispute resolution, she highlighted the vital role mediation plays in preserving relationships, reducing emotional strain, and enabling families to navigate conflicts with dignity and understanding.

The session also featured Ayaan Khan Sherwani, Young Committee Chair – ICADRP and Pakistan’s Youngest Accredited (IMI-Qualified) Mediator who shared valuable insights.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the team at D.L Nash for their active participation and commitment to embracing healthier, more constructive approaches to resolving disputes.
