This training program has been approved as an IMI Recognized Mediator Training Program (RMTP) to deliver in-person training. IMI Recognized Mediator Training Programs deliver high-quality mediator training that meets the international standards established by the International Mediation Institute (IMI) and recognized by intergovernmental standard-setting bodies, such as the CEPEJ. These standards are independent measures of quality and are created in consultation with stakeholders and practitioners around the world, under the guidance of IMI Task Forces.
A trainee who successfully completes an IMI RMTP may be referred to as an “IMI RMTP Graduate”.
Such graduates are eligible to apply for listing as an IMI Qualified Mediator within five years of programme completion, subject to meeting IMI’s applicable requirements.
( Important: IMI Qualified Mediator recognition is a separate process administered by the International Mediation Institute. Completion of the ICADRP training programme does not automatically confer IMI Qualified Mediator status. The ICADRP 40-Hour Signature Mediation Training (IMI Recognized Mediator Training Program) is a competency-based professional mediation programme designed to develop practical mediation knowledge and skills through intensive, experiential learning.

After Successful Completion
Participants who successfully complete the programme and meet its applicable assessment requirements receive confirmation of completion of the ICADRP 40-Hour Signature Mediation Training.
IMI RMTP Pathway
A successful participant may be referred to as an IMI RMTP Graduate.
Eligible IMI RMTP Graduates may apply individually to the International Mediation Institute for IMI Qualified Mediator recognition within five years of programme completion, subject to IMI’s applicable requirements and processes.
Other Professional Opportunities
Participants may independently pursue relevant professional opportunities, empanelment or recognition offered by other institutions or authorities, subject to the applicable eligibility requirements and procedures of those institutions.
