As part of ICADRP’s ongoing engagement with FAST-NUCES, Islamabad Campus, the ICADRP team visited the university on 15 September 2026 for a special speaker session featuring Mr. Sohaib Muhammad.

Conducted as part of the Conflict Management and Negotiation Skills course taught by Dr. Abdul Wahab, the session introduced MBA and MSBA students to the practical side of mediation and ADR.

Mr. Sohaib shared real-world experiences, anonymised case studies, and insights into handling professional, commercial, and interpersonal disputes, including the challenges mediators face while facilitating difficult conversations.

The session was followed by an interactive mediation exercise, where students stepped into the roles of mediators and disputing parties, allowing them to experience the principles of mediation in practice.

At ICADRP, we believe in taking mediation to universities, connecting students with practitioners, and creating opportunities for experiential learning. Building awareness among the next generation is an important step towards strengthening the culture of mediation and ADR in Pakistan.
