Strengthening Court-Annexed Mediation through Judicial Capacity Building
The day commenced with a meeting between CLDP and the core team of the Islamabad High Court Court-Annexed Mediation Centre (IHC-CAMC) to review the Centre’s progress, discuss operational matters, and strengthen institutional coordination.
ICADRP continues to support the Centre by providing the Online Dispute Resolution System (ODRS) platform, facilitating the panel of mediators, assisting with case numbering, and offering administrative support to ensure the efficient management of mediation cases.
The afternoon featured a judicial training session on the court-annexed mediation referral mechanism, providing Honorable Judges with practical guidance on referring appropriate cases to mediation and strengthening the effective implementation of ADR within the justice system.
The session was graced by the presence of Hon. Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir, reaffirming the judiciary’s commitment to institutionalizing court-annexed mediation and expanding access to justice in Pakistan.
