IMI Recognized Mediator Training Program (RMTP)

This training program has been approved as an IMI Recognized Mediator Training Program (RMTP) to deliver in-person training.

The programme provided intensive, practice-focused mediation training through structured simulations, role-plays, coaching, expert feedback and case-based learning. RMTPs deliver high-quality mediator training that meets the international standards established by the International Mediation Institute (IMI) and recognized by intergovernmental standard-setting bodies, such as the CEPEJ. These standards are independent measures of quality and are created in consultation with stakeholders and practitioners around the world, under the guidance of IMI Task Forces.

A trainee who successfully completes an IMI RMTP may be referred to as an IMI RMTP Graduate. Such graduates are eligible to apply for listing as an IMI Qualified Mediator within five years of program completion, subject to meeting IMI’s requirements.

Fidana Alieva — Lead Trainer

Ms. Alieva is a SIMI and SMC-accredited mediator with over 13 years of experience in conflict resolution across commercial, workplace, and family business disputes. Her global practice includes mediations and advisory work with institutions such as the Asian Development Bank, the Food and Agriculture Organisation, the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe, and other international bodies.

She also serves as a mediator and assessor at leading global platforms, including the ICC International Commercial Mediation Competition and the CDRC Vienna, and has trained professionals from over 70 countries through the International Mediation Campus / CONSENSUS Group (Germany).
